Carlos didn’t understand what Seres found funny. Maybe from how Tsoukalos’ seemed normal at first, but was then wilder in subsequent clips. But the way he said ‘Aliens’ – that had Carlos laughing as well. The child just quoted a meme!
Seres took the tablet and wiggled until he was sitting in Magnus’ lap. He laughed at all the clips even though they weren’t really funny, and when Magnus looked curiously at his son to see if he’d explain it, the boy just wiped an imaginary tear from his eye and said, “Aliens.” which caused Magnus to laugh, more from the tone his son used than actually understanding
