Carlos smiled at him. “Well, thank you. It’s up to you, of
course… I’m just saying I’m willing. Math and engineering is just about all I’m
really good for.”“I’ll let ya know if I need any help with that. Til then, we’ll put ya to work on that engineering stuff ya like to do, yeah? I’ll keep you busy so you don’t gotta go out into those ruins so much.”
Carlos sighed and nodded, smiling. “Yeah… I’d really
appreciate that, Hancock. Thank you very much.”
It was… kind of nice and touching that Hancock would be
looking out for him and offer him jobs to keep him out of the wasteland. Carlos
was really grateful for that. He hoped he’d be able to get the opportunity to
express that.
