Yes, yes. Carlos, I read the fine print. I was assured, however, that there would be enough science things there to keep Angie sufficiently entertained and help her with her desire to be a scientist like you. And if the camp proves to be insufficient, well, you’re only a few miles away.

I’m just over two miles from the camp. But I didn’t know
this – Max described the camp as a scam. How can they run so many different
types of subjects at the same time?

I assume there are different stations for each active camp, like those enrichment thingies humans do for schools. You’re nearby, why not see if you can observe the camp for a day or something? I have connections near there, and while the human who started the camp isn’t the most trustworthy, he’s rarely if never there so I wasn’t concerned with much more than humans-only offering science near you and some of my contacts. I gave her more than ample means of defending herself if necessary.

Mia, this is summer camp. Angie shouldn’t have to defend herself! I just—

*he pauses. He’s then apologetic.*

I’m sorry, Mia. I know… I’m not Angie’s legal guardian and I
can’t really say where she should go for summer camp. I just… I’m really
concerned and I don’t really like all the shady things I’m learning about this
camp.
