Send me ‘💍’ for our muses to wake up married after a night of heavy drinking

♫Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ pretty damn shitty♪” was literally Carlos’ first thought upon arriving at the Consciousness Station. Tragically, he wasn’t even in the proper mindset to appreciate his joke as the light resting on his eyes felt more like someone was taking a jackhammer straight into his face.

He made a noise – a long, moaning, very unhappy and painful noise – and reached both arms up to cover his face. Only one arm made it though, as the other was currently trapped underneath something. A pillow? A tight blanket? He didn’t know – it was warm though.

Carlos just frowned, shutting his eye closed again and groaning deeply. The pillows weren’t his, he realized. Neither was the blanket. Or the bed. He didn’t know where he was. And God, did it hurt trying to figure it all out.

“Nng… Then where are we?” he asked lowly.

“I have…no idea.” Giving up on untangling her legs the hard way, she rolled over again to stare up at the cieling of the darkened room.

Okay, time to think. They were in a strange room, neither of them knew where they were. She didn’t know how this had happened, or why. In fact, she barely remembered anything of the previous night. And trying to just made her head hurt even more.

“…Carlos, do you remember anything from last night?”

Carlos groaned at the thought of trying to make his brain work. But he tried to remember. “I went to your house… and it kinda turned into a deal where… you convinced me to let loose a little bit? I think? Not blamin’, just… s’what I remember.”

“Right….okay.” Mia groaned in commiseration, trying to connect the pieces to this black out migraine puzzle they were facing. What on Earth had they done

“….Bar. Think I convinced you to go drinking with me? But where-?” They were starting to piece it together, but she was still hopelessly confused.

Carlos hummed, still pressing his hands to his face to try and alleviate the pain. “I dunno… I don’t go to bars…” He tried to think further back. Beatles? For some reason they’d been on the radio, and it got Carlos thinking about some kind of live show that was related. Wait… Wait, wait wait…

“Love. I remember Love. Like… ‘All you need is Love’ and… and stuff. God, what was the… the thing called?”
