Welcome to Nightvale the-perfect-scientist

“Tell everyone to concentrate their bloodstone and perform this chant!” Stephen blinked suddenly. He hadn’t written it down and couldn’t! Oh this was a travesty. Not even his keyboard could perform Norse runes. “Um, wait!” The sorcerer recorded the chant on his phone and sent it to Carlos. “Start by sending Cecil this as a means to get the bamfs out of Hell, then maybe we can test other words that would hurt the red demons! If we combine bloodstone magic with my sorcery, I could defend this entire town in a most unique way. Why, if the town accepts me I could protect it from New York in my Sanctum with a bloodstone….oh the possibilities are endless….” He paced back and forth and contemplated on the complexities of combining his powers with that of Nightvale’s.

Carlos’ phone chimed when it recieved the message. However, the chime wasn’t the one he had as a default – the sound that came out of his phone was a low mystical thrum that gave him shivers up from his toes and up his spine. He shuddered, but then forwarded the sound file to Cecil along with the instructions that he’d been given.

“Maybe Cecil could play it over the air… do you think that would work? Would… would it activate the bloodstones within proximity if someone was for some reason unable to chant? Like, if they had a monster attacking them for instance.”
