*he smiles softly, closing his eyes slowly*
*smiles at Max and sits down in the other cot in the tent. He pulls out his phone and starts to read a book he’d had downloaded. It was a nice to be able to read books now that he was outside of Night Vale for the time being*
*After a few minutes, Max actually fell asleep*
*Carlos spends a few more minutes watching, waiting to see if Max would suddenly awaken again.*
