Carlos was frozen in shock, still holding the three books (and two magazines in surprisingly good shape) in front of him in his hands in offering. He… hadn’t expected that. He was suddenly very aware of the last time he’d even had the chance to get himself properly cleaned up (a couple weeks ago at least) and he ducked his head a bit in embarrassment.
“Um… here… go ahead and look through them…” he murmured, holding the books out further toward Kira.
