I don’t care if it’s a mess, Max. I was a kid once, too. *but as they got closer to Max’s tent he knelt down to set the boy back on his feet*
*he carefully hops down* s-still, i don’t you to like.. accidently step in Duck poop cause i didn’t clean up, cause that is one of the worse things ever..
Ah… yeah, I didn’t have ducks. Okay, Max, I’ll give you a second. Let me know when I can come in.
*he nods and steps into the tent, there’s some angry quacking and what sounds like something being pushed on the ground*
*Carlos just stands there, a little anxious about Max being alone even just for a bit. But he has ducks… he’ll be okay. Carlos just needed to be patient.*
*one of the ducks poke their head out, looking up at Carlos* o-okay, i think you can come in now..
*Smiles at the duck and uses his foot to gently herd it back into the
tent. He gets inside and does up the zip so the ducks don’t get out.**Max was piling up some papers while the ducks were sitting by his feet* luckily the only mess was my mess..
That’s good. How are the ducks doing? They getting fed and everything? *They seemed happy to him – huddling up to Max’ feet for his warmth/love.*
*he chuckles slightly, glancing down at the ducks* i fed them when i came in, but they weren’t hungry.. guess that’s a good thing
That’s good. Now, as for taking care of you… why don’t you lay down, Max? After a cry like the one you had, a nap sometimes helps.
