Carlos nodded to Hancock, smiling. “Oh yeah – he’s absolutely great at cooking,” he told Hancock. “He worked as a chef in his day. But he’s also a dad, so beware of Dad Jokes. Heheh!”

“I can’t help but feel like you’re tryin’ to set me up with your da, tellin’ me about all his best attributes. I do have a thing for older men.” He joked, shooting a wink over at the other man. “Y’know, you seem to be quite the catch yourself, handsome, a lot of people find intelligence extremely attractive, myself included.”

Carlos laughed. “Well, I’ll be honest, seeing him date would probably
be too weird for me. He’s been single for such a long time.”

And they were right back to talking (flirting?) about Carlos, huh?

“And
well, you know, there’s a reason I’ve been single for a while too,” he
went on. “Intelligence might be attractive, yeah… until the workaholic
inventor misses too many dates. You know, like Robin Williams in Flubber. Though I haven’t missed my own wedding, thank God.”
