With a circle of sand and tigers, along with swinging trapeze and double jointed dancers, the main stage was selling ticket for such a view.

Carlos hadn’t been to a circus in years – not since he was little. But there had been a raffle at work and Carlos had won a coupon for a free ticket. He kinda hoped that his brother and/or his dad were in town so he could invite them to go with him.

Carlos made his way to the ticket office that was set up, standing in the line with his coupon as he looked at everything around him. Some things were different than what he remembered or imagined a circus to be like, but not everything could be a dated cliche trope he supposed.

Once at the ticket office he smiled and offered the coupon. “Hey… this any good?” he asked in a joking manner.

However
he was forced to sit through and endure around an extra thirty minutes
of the act before he was finally called back into action, now the artist
was alone and his sister was performing at the stage while he simply
played at his works. It was nearing a late night before the man suddenly
swept himself over to the balcony, his hand extended for Carlos below
him.

The man was clearly young, if not younger than Carlos by at least two
years and looked to be somehow still going strong throughout the show.
His eyes were pale and cold amongst the dark lashes that laced his eyes,
his hair was a platinum blonde which contrasted beautifully against his
darker skin and gothic makeup. His hand was covered in chalk from the
performance, but it still was asking for Carlos.

Carlos was, again, confused when the acrobat decided to include him again. His hand was reaching up, though he wasn’t really sure what for. A high-five maybe? Heh… or a high-flying-high-five. So Carlos’ hand was up, his palm open as he watched the other’s face draw closer. Carlos wondered if he did his own make-up. He looked good.

“Babe…” Carlos smiled, gazing lovingly at Cecil.

Cecil smiled back at him, in absolute adoration. “I love you”

“I love you too,” Carlos cooed and he leaned in to smooch Cecil on the mouth.

Cecil kissed him back. “I am so glad you are a part of my life,” Cecil responds.

“You know what? So am I,” Carlos returned, taking Cecil’s hand and squeezing it.

As
the show began and the noise only seemed to grow into more of a pure
trumpet blasting, it was hard to focus on anything any more for anyone
which was truthfully the more wild part of the circus. Everything was a
blur, there was suddenly fire and the acrobats leprechaun into action,
their ankles being the only thing to keep them steady as they tossed
rifles and swords back and forth. Their suits glittered in their
spotlights, and their laughter was nearly drowned by the crowds around.

One of the acrobats was thrown a rose from a flamethrower, he caught
it like it had been rehearsed and placed it between his teeth all while
hanging by one hand and arching his legs outwards to be grabbed by his
sister to hold still. They paused for only seconds, but it felt like
hours before the blond man made strict eye contact with Carlos and
pulled himself from his sister.

It was only a few more leaps and twirls until the man was being held
at the ankles by his sister, and was being swung up to the balcony where
Carlos sat to which he tossed him the rose.

Carlos was having a lot of fun. He gasped and ooed and awed with everyone else. THe mechanics of the act – the balance and the perfectly placed swings were all just so incredible.

Initially when the acrobat had met his eyes Carlos didn’t think much of it. Before he knew it, a rose was headed for his direction and Carlos’ hands instinctively reached up to catch it, despite some mild confusion on his part. He missed the rose and it hit his chest, but he was quickly able to pick it up from his lap. That look he got was in anticipation of the next part of the act, he realized. Carlos grinned and clapped while holding the rose gently in one hand.

Your muse finds mine, staggering down a road at night, with torn, dirty clothes and nothing else. Send “How did you get here?” to pick them up.

Flug stumbled looking around, “I was….testing out a new escape ray.” He muttered looking around road. Where was he? He reached under his bag pulling his hand way to see blood slipping off the yellow rubber material. “I should probably go to a hospital.”

“Yeah, no duh,” Carlos said with a huff, but there wasn’t any actual bite to it. He took the other man’s arm and pulled it around his shoulder. “Try to hang on to me… I’ll get you somewhere safe. What’s your name?” Carlos wanted to make sure there wasn’t a concussion to worry about, so a simple question would help him gauge the other’s condition.

@partyplanningforsuckers

It was a poor joke at best, the ticket manager didn’t seem to be even vaguely entertained by it and simply rolled his tired dark eyes at the man and punched a discounted ticket. His hands were wrinkled and scared like he never rested a day in his life, after the ripe age of eighteen. He snatched the coupon and tossed it into a drawer beside the pinched ticket, which gleamed like treasure beneath the flashing lights of his stand.

Finally being handed the ticket through awkward groans of misery and sounds of self loathing, the man spoke in a low and gruff tone that urged Carlos along like he was a straggler.

“Get on with it, city man.” He growled as he waved his frail hand in a dismissive manner, and then at the family of four behind Carlos to proceed.

Carlos blinked. Well, that was a great way to greet someone. Carlos reasoned that the man was probably having an off day today.

So Carlos just smiled at him and nodded. “Thank you. Have a good day,” he said and started to walk away from the booth.

Carlos looked at the ticket to determine where his seat was. It seemed like it was pretty high up – he didn’t really expect anything else from a raffled ticket coupon – so he located the section and started to climb.

The seating wasn’t as tight fitting as one would have expected in a traveling act like this, his seat was directly at the balcony for a straight down view of the show happening two stories below. There was a ring of sand along with a red white and gold striped tent, where flamethrowers stood and juggled flaming bottles of wine next to a pair of albino tigers as they roared. It was certainly an opener to behold, as the ring leader rambled on about how dangerous and mysterious his show was girls in skin tight suits balanced on globes and danced.

Circus’ were always supposed to be extra but this was madness, you couldn’t focus on one thing including the speech of the ring leader. Though as the man talked, he suddenly gestured far above the ground to a pair of diving boards that were placed nearly next to Carlos where a man stood on one and a woman to the other. They were both dressed in tight fitting glittery leotards and wore greatly exaggerated makeup, the spotlight hit them like a godly ray of which they basked in.

Carlos watched and clapped along with the crowd. There was plenty for him to look at, and he was especially interested in the hardware that the trapezists used. It all looked delicate and Carlos knew that everything would have a purpose. He couldn’t wait to see how the acrobats would interact with everything.

Again, he wished his dad and brother were here. He wanted so much to share this with them.

How to turn marble into Infinity Stone. According to the thread, this is called crazing. Heat it with the candle then douse it in cold water. Hopefully it will crack but not shatter. If you’re going to try this, prepare for possible explosions. Don’t just assume the video gives you the exact method. Don’t want anyone losing an eye!
