People please stop reblogging that post about that person who got ~fired~ after âworking on akali for 9 monthsâ itâs a straight up lie. Check out the real people behind the video, a french studio named Fortiche. Nothing in that post adds up. A lot of fortiche members actually have instagrams with the actual process, it was a contract so riot games had no one to âfireâ since it wasnât an in house job, and even if there was nobody would fire a person who could work ON THEIR OWN on a project like that (which is impossible btw.)
Please think before you reblog shit like that, it discredits every people fighting against exploitation in the video game industry. Just⌠stop. Inform yourselves.
Wha aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh? Tumblr believing everything without doing any sort of research before spreading misinformation? Naaaah that doesnât happen.
From what I read on twitter the person in question had worked on the REWORK (her abilities and such specifically?); not the skin design.Â
Now I still donât see more on the *why* this person was fired but some people are linking me articles that companies will work people really hard then just fire them. However I still donât know 100% if thatâs the case; itâs radio silent.
After being on the internet for so long I very much like to see facts/proof upfront before I hop on things. Someone said the person who got fired leaked the rework – maybe that is what got them fired. Maybe Riot (âŚunsurprisingly, again I really do not think highly of them theyâre utter garbageâŚ) actually did fire them after working them really hard, for no good reason. Just to use them. But maybe there was more to it? We donât know.Â
Firing someone just fucking sucks regardlessâŚÂ
Checked out the thread on Twitter. I find the entire thing highly suspicious. We canât all have our fingers in everything happening with all of our favorite media but usually, and yes I am very aware this happens everywhere, but Tumblr has a reputation of spreading a lot of loaded lies with the intent to further tarnish someoneâs reputation especially if itâs a âhive mindâ or âband wagonâ situation as is often the case in this hellsite.
Iâm in no way defending or playing devilâs advocate for Riot. Itâs a shit company from what Iâve read and seen. But if this person did leak information then being fired is a bit of an extreme but it was totally their fault. Companies have been cracking down hard on leaks since itâs been a frequent thing for the last few years.
What I would like to know is where is this person and why did they deactivate? If they hadnât lied then why deactivate?
Carlos wandered through the forest. He knew heâd seen a cave somewhere â it looked like an old bear cave, though he hadnât gone in it before. He wanted to be as far away from his camp and the summer camps, in case the children had an idea to wander around at night to hunt for snipes. The full moon would make visibility perfect for it, so it was a reasonable concern in Carlosâ mind.
He finally came across the cave he was looking for. And not too soon either â the moon would rise probably within the next ten minutes. Carlos ventured forth, holding his flashlight up to search the inside of the cave. Hopefully it was empty. Could a werewolf beat a bear? Maybe?
he looked down at and shifted his paws, unsure how to feel about this
Carlosâ tail stopped moving. RightâŚ
Iâm⌠not going to be like this in the morning, Carlos said. A wolf, I mean. I know you probably donât like human adults so⌠I wanted to get out of your fur before then.
And risk being discovered by the children or the counselors, if any of them decided to go for a midnight walk.
âYou.. You Still Donât Have To Go, Things Are Just.. Different Nowâ he looked up at the other, hoping he would somehow get what he was trying to say
Carlos looked at him. I donât exactly see how⌠Iâm a human. I have been the entire time. I just⌠have a condition, that makes me look not that way.
âWell.. Youâll Just Have To Not Kill Me In My Sleepâ he tiredly layed his head down
Youâre worried about me killing you??Carlos asked incredulously.
âIâm Worried Anyone Trying To Kill Me, Itâs Nothing Personalâ
Carlos was quiet for a second. I guess I could say the same. I thought you wouldâve gone after me. Nothing personal, though… it was just a worry I had as well.
