((going to bed now. night night
As the summer days rolled by, a full moon crept closer and closer. Thankfully, the woods surrounding the camp were large and caves were scatted everywhere, maybe Carlos could wait this out in a cave? all he had to do was find one and hope some other animal didn’t make its home there, right? -(the worse starter maker) L
Carlos wandered through the forest. He knew he’d seen a cave somewhere – it looked like an old bear cave, though he hadn’t gone in it before. He wanted to be as far away from his camp and the summer camps, in case the children had an idea to wander around at night to hunt for snipes. The full moon would make visibility perfect for it, so it was a reasonable concern in Carlos’ mind.
He finally came across the cave he was looking for. And not too soon either – the moon would rise probably within the next ten minutes. Carlos ventured forth, holding his flashlight up to search the inside of the cave. Hopefully it was empty. Could a werewolf beat a bear? Maybe?
‘I Already Ate, Remember? You Can Have The Rest If You Want..’
Carlos looked at the carcus. He did want it, but…
I really shouldn’t. My…stomach’s not made for this sort of… stuff. He had no idea if he could even digest raw meat before the morning came. It smelled really good, but… it just wasn’t a good idea.
He slunk into the cave, going to sit in the corner where he’d left his things.
he tilted his head slightly as he watched the other ‘You.. Are A Wolf..’
Carlos snorted softly as he pushed his labcoat up against the cave wall. Take a good look at me – I”m really not. He used his nose to nudge his shoes onto the labcoat before he started to lay down next to the pile of clothes.
‘Whether You Were Or Weren’t Before Doesn’t Matter Right Now, Does It?’ he huffed slightly as he rolled closer
Carlos just grunted softly and lay his head down on top of his pants. He had originally been planning on just sleeping the night away, and that’s what he was going to do.

‘They Seem To Be After Me.. Leaving Painful Traps Everything They Go..’ he huffed softly
This made Carlos suspicious.
Why would they be after you? You’re not… hurting anybody, are you?
‘Not That I’m Aware..’ he got up, moving back towards the cave
Carlos just followed after him. Maybe they’re just scared, he suggested. He knew that he was… he still didn’t even know this other creature’s name. If it even had a name. Much less what it was.
‘Then They Stay Out Of The Forest.’ he growled slightly, lowing his head as he walked
Carlos would have frowned. People just like to explore and learn about their world. That’s what the camps around here are for, at least – to help human children learn.
‘Those People Aren’t From The The Camps Though., Those Humans Are Much Nicer..’ he glanced back at the other ‘They Don’t Smell Like Here Either..’
Carlos’ ears perked up. So you like the children fine, then?
‘Why Wouldn’t I? They Sometimes Give Me Food’
I don’t know… you dragged a deer to that cave, and children tend to be weaker than even a deer. So I would have thought you’d see them as a sort of opportunity…
he gave Carlos a strange, almost disgusted, look ‘Never.’
Carlos looked back at him with a huff. Well, thank God for that.
they soon reached the cave, and he laid down near the back
Carlos watched him. You not going to eat? he asked. You dragged that deer here.
You should wanna know, the thing is like 9 feet tall
… No, I”m pretty sure it sounds like I don’t wanna know.
