Texas voters

Electronic voting machines are switching your votes if you vote straight ticket.

Select who your candidates individually. The GOP isn’t fixing the problem; they are determined to steal this election, every election they can. Take the extra time, vote piecemeal, make sure it says who you voted for.

If you are angry about Trump’s proposed memo defining gender as a biological, immutable condition determined by genitalia at birth…

If you are angry about the bombs being sent to prominent democratic leaders or public figures…

If you are angry about the shooting at the Tree of Life Congregation Synagogue in Pittsburgh…

GO OUT AND VOTE ON NOVEMBER 6TH.

Don’t let the recent horrific acts make you feel so hopeless for change that it paralyzes you. The only way change will come is if we ACT for change, which includes voting. If you are not old enough to vote, encourage your friends and family members to vote. If you can drive, but are not old enough to vote, offer to drive people to the polls. Change will only come if we make a change.

Don’t think your one vote will make a difference? Think about how many people bought Mega Millions lottery tickets recently. There is a 1 in 302,575,350 chance of winning the lottery, yet people buy tickets frivolously because they have HOPE that their ticket will be the 1 in 302,575,350.

Be the HOPE and the CHANGE that your one vote will be the difference.

“Angie likes werewolves just fine. And she’s been around some of my adult children when they were in their wolf forms, along with my mate. The rest of the pack doesn’t really have much reason to be around her while in wolf shape.”

In other words, Angela was used to seeing werewolves as family and safe to be around. Which theoretically meant that she’d expect no harm to come from her Papa in wolf form.

Carlos let out a sigh at that. Good… that was good. Okay, things were shaping up to be alright, so far.

“That’s good to hear – I appreciate it,” he said to Mia. He sighed again. “Okay… and… you’ll be here with us? At least for a little bit?”

“I’ll stay as long as you need me to,” she confirmed. “Or, at least until I’ve had time to prove that you aren’t going to harm her. Have a little faith in yourself, Carlos. I trust you.”

Carlos couldn’t help the huff of laughter that he made. “Right… right, I’ll try. Th… I appreciate your help, Mia. So… should we still have the this rendezvous at my apartment? I have to, um… do a little wolf-proofing here anyhow.”

“You’ve been a werewolf before with no issues?” Obviously, Mia wasn’t understanding the problem. “In fact, you control yourself remarkably well. I wish all fresh pups had half your self control.”

She let out a small humming noise, thinking for a moment. “What if I was there for part of the visit? Just long enough for you to prove to yourself that you aren’t a danger to her.”

Damn – Mia was determined, wasn’t she? “Well, I only handled myself because I guess the wolf part recognized you as someone of higher rank?” Carlos suggested. “Though, you being there with Angie and me… it might work. But… Mia, I honestly don’t know much about werewolves. How do they act around people, usually? Especially young children?”

“That depends on the individual person. Someone who was good with kids as a human would be good with them as a werewolf too. Usually I’d say the only thing to worry about besides increased strength is a potentially shortened temper, but I don’t think you even have that.”

Oh, she was bound and determined alright. If Carlos insisted on postponing the visit, she wouldn’t fight, but the fae woman would try to convince him to go through with it. It was important for him to see his daughter, after all!

Increased strength.. so he probably wasn’t going to be moving much, he thought. But a shortened temper? He didn’t remember experiencing any of that… but again, Mia was there most of the time to be the ‘alpha’.

“How does… Angela feel about werewolves?” Carlos then asked softly. “Has she… has she met one transformed?” What if it scared her? Carlos didn’t want to scare her. Which reminded him, he didn’t want her to watch him transform. He’d go to another room for that.
