Maybe you will! Heh… It’s really good to see kids interested
in science, these days…there are a couple other kids here that like science more then me.. *he looks up at the sky* .. do you ever wonder how it would look or feel if you could see the stars during the day?
*shrugs* Sometimes. Sometimes though, if you look really
carefully, you can see lights in the sky that look like stars – those would be
our nearby planetoid neighbors or even the International Space Station and
other satellites.internat- internatel– we have a space station? how many satellites are there?
Yeah, there’s a space station. And there’s plenty of
satellites – phone companies and TV companies and weather stations have their
stuff up there.… what if you were on a space ship and you came back down to earth, but everyone was gone? not like everyone just packed up and left, but just gone ?
I think there might be a Twilight Zone episode about that.
But honestly… that would be pretty terrifying. However, it’s very unlikely that
that would ever happen. *he looks at the kid* What makes you ask about that?i dunno… my friend thinks i think about abandonment too much though…. what’s the twilight zone? *he looked up at the other*
Oh, it’s an old show where really weird stuff happens. The
first episode in fact is of a man appearing in a town where there was
absolutely nobody there. Only in that episode it wasn’t real – it was a science
experiment being run to see how the human mind would deal during times of
complete solitude because they wanted to send man to Mars at some point in the
future.… damn, sounds weird.. and the whole show is basically like that?
Sort of. It takes place in a place where reality isn’t quite
reality… so things get weird. But some elements are just so close to real life
that it just makes you think. Though it might be a little bit deep for you… You
can certainly try it when you get the chance.
