Carlos frowned at him. “Well, since you ask, I feel bad knowing that someone I know is going to be alone this holiday season. Are Flug, Dementia, and Fives not sticking around? Or the hatbots even?” Maybe the ‘bots would be too busy working, but the others… did they even have families?

“I do not consider them my family, what they do matters not to me.”

“Well, I’m not saying they’re family. Friends, at least. Coworkers. Even a work-party with them might be nice, do you think?”

“They do have a party for themselves. I just don’t join.”

“It doesn’t have anything to offer you, huh?”

Carlos smiled at him. He reached and pulled his arms around Hancock to hug him. “I want you to enjoy it too. I’m actually very happy with how this turned out. I’m glad you liked it…”

He happily returned the hug, nuzzling his face into Carlos’ neck with a smile. “I’m absolutely enjoying it, because I get to be with you. It means a lot to me that you wanted to include me in something so special to you.”

“Thank you for making it special,” Carlos told him. “On my own… well, I wouldn’t have done anything. He pulled away a bit to look at Hancock. “Wanna head inside and play your new games?” he asked with a smile. “It’s pretty cold in the warehouse…”
