“Uhhhhh….. no they don’t and…… Kraglin knows how to strip one for parts…. as for how to operate it….I don’t think so….”

Carlos frowned. “Maybe we oughtta pick them up rather than just wait for them to come to the house,” he suggested. “Dad has a car we can drive. My Driver’s license shouldn’t be expired. I think.”

Looks at him. “And… how am I supposed to hide? You want me to come out in daylight?” Looks at him nerviously.

“Uh– oh…” Carlos said softly. “I’m sorry, I forgot about that. Um… maybe Mikey and I can go. And you can stay here with Dad?”

“Yeah…. they should be next to my ship….and I’ll hang out with your old man. Who knows I might be able to help him out around here or something.”

Carlos smiled at him. “Like planning for lunch or dinner – you know better about what the boys can eat so it’d be a great help. Speaking of which… should we go get some breakfast?”

Yondu nods and looks at him with a sigh before tugging him into a light kiss before pulling back and heads down stairs to the dinning table. “Something smells delicious in here. Morning wheels. How are you?”

Mikey looked up from his plate, blinking a little sleepily. But he grinned and waved. “Hey, Eiffel 65! I’m not too bad!”

“Mikey, don’t make references Mr Yondu can’t understand,” Mr Ramon chided gently with a smile.

“He’ll understand them soon, I promise!” Mikey said with a grin. “Hey – sit down, you guys. Dad went all out this morning.”

“Of course I did! I’ve got four grown men to feed!” Mr Ramon laughed. “And a homecoming to celebrate as well! This’ll be the first breakfast since last Easter that we’ve all had with Carlos.”

Yondu smiles a bit about to sit then blinks at the door as someone knocks on it. His com beeps a few times and he answers. “Peter?”

“Heya! Hope we’re at the right house. I’m tired! Krags dragged me out of bed! And the hike… seriously!”

“Carlos was going to come pick you both up. You were supposed to call me before you got here.” Smirks at the silence then the loud whine of exhasperstion.

Mikey sighed and backed away from the table. “I’ll get the door… you guys hide in case it’s one of our neighbors.”

Carlos took Yondu’s arm and pulled him so that they weren’t in view of the front door. “Is Kraglin with you, Pete?” he asked through the comm.

“I ain’t lettin’ his ass outta sight on a planet like this,” Kraglin responded. “He still probably has a wanted status here…”

Mr Ramon frowned at that, but didn’t say anything.

Peter groans. “I came back once and a group of punk teens thought I looked weird so I taught them a lesson… so sue me…”

Yondu rolls his eyes and peeks to see who Mikey was opening the door for and sighs seeing it was just his two idiot boys.

Kraglin was mildly surprised at the sight of Mikey, but his expression quickly returned to stoicism. “This is… the Ramon house, yeah?” he asked.

Mikey blinked up at him. “Yeah, it is,” he said. “Can I help you?”

Kraglin huffed softly. “Carlos and Yondu – they’re here, right?”

“Oh! Yeah, come in!” Mikey backed away a bit for the two and offered his hand. “I’m Mikey – I’m Carlos’ brother.”

Peter shoved Kraglin over and out of the way. “Yo wheels! What’s shakin! Ohh I smell food! Krags get off the floor bro! They got food! Like good good food!!”

Kraglin growled at the boy, a practically murderous glare in his eyes. He pushed himself up and reached out, quickly pulling him into a headlock. “You little shit – where the hell‘s yer decency??” He snarled.

Mikey was so surprised that he started to wheel back. “Uh…”

Peter yells and struggles to get out of the head. “Krags!!! Bro! Ow!! Let gooooooooo!”

Yondu shakes his head. “Oi! Peter settle down Kraglin let him go. Honestly you to….peter that is Mikey… have some blasted decency….now behave or I’ll put you both on bathroom duty.”

MIkey quickly closed the front door, while Kraglin just huffed and let Peter go, not caring if he fell to the ground or not.

Carlos poked his head in, and then hurried over to the two. “I can’t believe you two walked here! That was at least ten miles!”

“We took some shortcuts,” Kraglin said to him. “One of those big fury bear critters yelled at Peter an’ scared him though – that was funny as hell!”

“A bear?” Carlos asked, worried.

“Looked like one. Though not as stocky, and it had a droopy face and a tail.”
