It exists in Pacific Northwest/ Glacier NP area, but I haven’t had much of a context to use it/hear it used
((*whimpers* well okay. How I figured, growing up in the Mormon church, a fireside was a campfire that happened at night. We’d roast marshmallows and Starbursts sometimes (<–another Mormon thing I think??). Often there’d be a testimony meeting or a devotional or something… but those terms were also interchangeable with ‘fireside’.
I had just assumed that a fireside… was just something people said. But then again… I’m stuck in Utah. So…
