“Well, I admire him because he’s a very intelligent person. Frankly, he’s a mechanical genius, and as a scientist that is right in my interests.”
((Not only is he smart, but he’s super kind. I used to hate the iron man movie because all I thought when looking at it (at a younger age, mind you) was ‘ooh, rich boy so full of himself that he reveals his secret identity. That’s so stupid >:(”. But as the MCU (specifically) released new material, and as I grew older, I learned to look kind of ‘between the lines’ when it comes to characters and people and just…. well, i love tony deeply. He even beats out Captain America in that, in my opinion, he’s a slightly more complex character.))
“Also, that goatee. That man can really sport a goatee.”
((He looks like such a dad character. Especially since Spider Man entered the scene, he wants to take care of everyone and keep everyone safe and just… ugh! I want him to be my dad.))
“And despite his history, he seems to be trying to do right by people. He opened up so many charities, gives money to those who need it like it’s candy, and he is encouraging the youth of today to be the best that they can be. It’s fantastic!”
“Guess I’m doomed to the 8th circle of Hell according to Dante.”
“I haven’t read that book. What’s in the 8th circle?”
“Well according to him, practicing magic is considered violence against nature. What about druids? They are one with nature.”
Carlos snorted softly. “Yeah… I don’t know nothing about druids. But there’s men of priesthood who can heal… can’t magic also be considered calling on some power greater than your own? Priests or popes performing miracles and making revelations… you know what I mean? It doesn’t sound like Dante knows what he’s talking about.”
“Don’t get me started on how Limbo works.” Stephen snorted and crossed his arms. “I think he was a devout Christian probably. Though I do give him props for acknowledging that the church back in the day contained greedy heretics.”
Carlos shrugged. “I’ll give him that,” he agreed with a slight nod. “It’s always good to recognize corruption when you see it.”
