One of our awesome volunteers brought in this submarine as enrichment for the octos, and this little sea monster has had a fantastic time sinking the ship, causing chaos, and finding food while doing so! I love the simplicity of this little vessel as a form of enrichment, and the potential it holds for more complicated activities.
No you don’t even know these birds call actually sounds like its saying go away and what it does is it hangs around large groups of herbivores and when a predator shows up it will just start shouting GO AWAY GO AWAY and then all the gazelles and zebras and such will take off.

I just had to tell my aunt on facebook that dogs can’t have chocolate. I am shocked that she didn’t know this and concerned because she’s had chocolate labs before (ironic!) and her husband gave them M&Ms and she let it happen. Faith in humanity crumbling…
