smol-and-passionate:

I just went to my first Drag Show with my stepmom for her birthday (which was actually in early November – that’s when we presented her with the tickets). I have never been before – nor seen a Drag Queen in-costume, even – and this was certainly an experience!

The tickets were VIP passes, which included a meet-and-greet along with photos (I look terrible in the photo – no make-up or anything so i look pasty, pasty white in comparison to the Queens XD). While we were getting ready for the photo though, I swear I felt some of the Queens play with my hair! Just… wow! Yeah, that made me a little happy 🙂 I love having my hair played with. By the way, my hair is really long – like two feet long. And I’ve noticed some of my friends like to play with it.

Anyway…

It was a fun show, though since we were right under the speakers I think my hearing is a little bit hurt (so much BASS – my heart wouldn’t have needed to beat on its own because the bass was just vibrating my entire body). I should have brought earplugs (you’d think someone on the autistic spectrum would carry earplugs, but eh… It’s not a habit of mine since i’m an introvert. I should get some though…)

I also got a keychain signed by Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, since I thought it was the cutest one at the merch table (I still don’t know much about the Queens who performed – but so far Latrice Royale is my favorite).

I had a good time!
