Carlos looked. “Oh, yeah! That’d be great,” he said. He smiled at the other man. “I could also ask if they have a band-aid as well.” Carlos bent down to pick up his messenger bag, which slipped off his shoulder when he tripped.
“Yeah.” he said, and shook his head. “Sorry about that. I shouldn’t have been taking up that much space. I thought someone was following me, and I wanted to make sure they weren’t before heading home.”
Carlos smiled and shrugged. “It’s okay, I was just trying to stay out
of your way…” He glanced at his elbow again. “I’m going to go get
this cleaned up…”
